All of our windows and doors are manufactured from high impact, acrylic modified PVC-u. The white PVC-u profile is produced in a rigid multi-chamber extrusion, which conforms to BS EN 12608-2003.

                                                  With five chambers, the Advance 70 provides superior    standards available in terms of performance and durability.

The smooth white, non-porous gloss finish is complemented with additional attractive woodgrain finishes of Golden Oak and Rosewood which have been tried, tested and the profile appropriately Kitemarked. The finish is stabilised against UV light to prevent any colour shift, and meets all industry standards to BS EN 12608.

        Our PVC-u products are ideal for use in domestic or commercial applications. For the domestic market scotia profiles and sash horns have greatly diversified the range whilst the Advance 70 is ideal for use in clinical and environmentally controlled conditions, where frequent cleansing may be required to control contamination in areas such as hospitals, clinics, hospices and surgeries. Being aware of architects and specifiers requirements, production planning is a vital component to ensuring that the most suitable products are provided for individual projects.

Meets Building Regualtion Requirements

Performance

Part L of the building regulations provides stipulations for energy efficieny in buildings, including the new build sector. Thermal limits of transmittance for windows including glass ,and doors with more than 50% glazing area requires a minimum U value of 2.0/m2K or less.

Our windows and doors more than comply to this standard using 28mm K glass units. However, lower values can be achieved by using different combinations of glazing materials, such as Energiclear  , an example of which is shown below;
